Announcing FreeAgent Launch Pricing
Today we're announcing what FreeAgent will cost when we launch in September...
FreeAgent will be a subscription-based online service, so you'll only pay when you're account is open, and there'll be no initial costs or subsequent fees when we update the service.
There will be a free 60-day trial period (beta testers who are active and provide feedback will have a six-month free period instead).
After that, pricing will depend on what kind of solo business you run: Sole Trader accounts will cost £15 (+VAT) per month, and Limited Company accounts will cost £25 (+VAT) per month.
Essentially, each type of account will offer a full set of streamlined money management tools for each kind of solo business, so that you'll always know what you owe and what you're owed.
Here's the detail of what each type of account will offer:
Both Sole Trader and Limited Company accounts:
- Manage clients, including a statement of account
- Import clients from Outlook or Gmail
- Manage projects, with optional budgets of time or cost
- Track time, entering timeslips by day or week
- Upload and explain electronic bank statements in OFX, QIF or (where supported) CSV formats
- Auto-explain transactions on upload where recognised
- Rebill bank payments to projects
- Add out-of-pocket expenses and mileage, rebill to projects
- Create invoices from tracked time, rebilled expenses (both bank payments and out-of-pocket expenses) and manually-added items.
- Generate PDFs of invoices
- Send invoices as email attachments
- Track invoices through to payment
- VAT accounting and return calculation (Cash or invoice based, either standard or Flat Rate Scheme)
- Simple Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss
- Projected Income Tax estimates
- Accountant Login
Limited Company accounts only will also include:
- Multiple users
- Payslip handling, including simple payroll generation PAYE/NI Account tracking
- Director Loan Account tracking
- Projected Corporation Tax estimates
- Track expense balances owing to users
- Track dividends paid and generate Dividend vouchers
If using FreeAgent means you track one missed hour of time that you actually worked, saved the tax on one out-of-pocket expense you claimed or got the occasional invoice sent and paid actually on time, we reckon you'll easily have recouped the cost.
And sleeping better at night knowing your finances are under control?
To coin a phrase: Priceless.
Over to you...
