It’s been a hive of activity here at FreeAgent Central Towers. Here’s why:
We’re finally exposing the first part of our beta Application Programming Interface with this release. If you don’t know what that means, relax.

Being a freelancer conjours up images of running with abandon through summer meadows, the wind in your hair. Right?
Alas, in fairly short order reality crashes in once you get started. Being your only boss is the only way to be, but you do find out what those people in HR and Accounts used to get up to before you went solo.
This is nowhere more true than when it comes to keeping business records.
When we started working on the management tools that became FreeAgent, we knew we wanted to create something that was more than just an online application.
Yes, find the simplest, most streamlined way of dealing with the whole messy business of managing a solo business. But also start a conversation with our users that would help us make being a FreeAgent better, together.
Hence Then Central! Our plan is to post regularly on what’s going on with the FreeAgent service and what’s happening in the world of solo business. We also want to build a resource to help the recent (and not-so-recent) converts find their feet. You’ll see this starting to grow in the coming weeks and months.
